I’m going to start off by showcasing last night’s amazing dinner, followed by this morning’s nasty ass breakfast.
Last night after work, I snuck into the gym for a quick 1.25 mile speed walk. Since I went into work late, I skipped my lunch which meant no afternoon workout. I honestly wasn’t sure if I was going to do a P90X workout last night so I thought an intense walk would be beneficial, plus, I got to drool over Jeremy so it was a total win. 😉
Who knew speed walking could work up quite a sweat! I should think about joining the Olympic speed walking team, although I’m not sure my midg legs would keep up! I can only imagine some super long limbed females in that event.
Since I was already sweaty, I decided to bust out the Biceps & Back workout. I actually skipped the Plyometric workout, but I just knew that with me being sick, the thought of that exhausted me, while I knew I could handle weights.
I have been religiously monitoring my calories, fat, carbs and protein intake with Spark People (I’m addicted!) and knew that I needed more fats and carbs today to reach my goal. I had been craving peanut butter toast for a few days so I knew this was the perfect time for it.
With naner slices. Pure heaven! I actually used my PB2 on Fiber One Whole Wheat bread, and I’m not sure if it was the thickness of the bread or what, but I felt like I was eating a brick, it was so heavy and droopy!
Still hit the spot!
I finished up my night with watching the Dancing with the Stars recap show, and was SOOO excited to see that Kelly & Val will be dancing in the finals. Wooo Team Vally!
I headed up to my room to make my way through Peanut Butter Fingers Book of the month, The Happiness Project. So far I’ve managed to get through about a chapter a night, and this is honestly such a great read. I’ve heard mixed reviews about it but I honestly never want to put it down. My damn curfew always gets the best of me. I’m hoping to read a big chunk of it over my next 4 days off!
Ps, I most definitely rubbed the Acqua Di Gio sampler on my pillows like I used to when I was 12. My brother and mom used to always rip these pages out of magazines for me to put in my drawers or on my pillows. I’ve matured and now usually spray cologne on my pillows before bed because it makes me feel
like I have a boyfriend safe.
This morning I woke up extremely happy and told myself while I was getting changed that I was going to have a kickass run and own it.
Own it I did. I completed a 3.65 run that left me feeling high on life and I didn’t struggle through it once. Lately I’ve had trouble breathing or have had tired legs, but this morning, all of that disappeared.

• 1:10 plank hold and 30 seconds each side
• 2 sets of 20 mountain climbers
• 50 heel touchers
• 30 toe touchers
• 50 scissors
• 100s Abs
• 50 crunches
This morning I really wasn’t sure what to have for breakfast, and my dillydallying of this process put me behind schedule. I grabbed a plain Chobani yogurt, threw protein powder and chia seeds into a bag and called it a morning.
I struggled through half of a boring protein shake on my way to work, and at work I mixed the ingredients together and popped it into the fridge for about 20 minutes.
