This morning I woke up again not feeling like my true self. Chelsey’s mom works at a hospital so she told me that I probably had a virus and that it should go away soon. I sure hope it does! I’m getting tired of having no appetite and not feeling 100%. At least today I’m not nauseous!
I ended up being quicker in my morning routine so I was blessed to have an extra 5 minutes to run this morning. I surprised myself with pushing out a 4 mile run, which I’m stoked about since I won’t be hitting the gym during the middle of the day like I normally do. Instead, I’m taking my lunch at 4 to leave an hour early so I can take the Monday evening spin class at 4:30.
- 4 mile run
- 50 crunches and 50 side-to-side crunches
- 25 reverse crunches
- 1 minute plank
- 2 sets of 13 squats with overhead dumbbell press, 8 lbs.
- 2 sets of 20 mountain climbers
- 2 sets of 13 standing side crunches, 8 lb. dumbbells
This workout left me drenched in sweat and feeling great.
As good as that felt, I STILL didn’t have an appetite. I tried to make a protein shake for work but it was too soupy and wasn’t going to work so I sabotaged that idea. Around 10, I forced myself to eat oatmeal with diced walnuts in it, knowing I needed the calories and protein, regardless of whether or not I was hungry.
Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures on my workout or of my breakfast, but I will leave you with this handsome man, who I will be seeing Wednesday night.
