This morning was one of those mornings I just wanted to stay in bed. Okay, I feel that way every week day, but last night’s spinning really made my legs feel heavy today, even though I felt refreshed. I went to bed a little after 10 last night and when I woke up, I had a text at 10:26 pm, so it appears I was out like a light.
After a semi rough 3.5 mile run, I was able to get in some stretching and core work before showering and getting drenched on my way to work. Should have skipped the shower since I got wet enough to call it a shower.
- 3.5 mile run, post stretching
- 15 stair push-ups
- 2 sets of 15 laying chest flies, 8 lb. dumbbells
- 2 sets of 13 squats with overhead press, 8 lb. dumbbells
- 2 sets of 13 deadlifts with upward row, 8 lb. dumbbells
While running out the door, I managed to pop several roasted brussel sprouts in my mouth, followed by a few big gulps of my favorite protein shake. Yes, even I admit it was a weird combo.
I’ve felt bodacious all day. Plus it’s raining out. It’s Wednesday but aren’t those symptoms for a Monday?
