Chocolate Overload.. There IS Such a Thing

After a night of eating too many chocolate chips (damn baking!) and lack of sleep, I woke up feeling like I got hit by a bus. Lovely feeling if you haven’t experienced it in quite a while. I struggled through my 3.3 mile run, and barely had the energy for a quick session of strength training before work. I busted out a few push-ups, a plank and several crunches before dragging my body into the shower.

Morning Workout:

  • 3.3 mile run with post-run stretching
  • 1 set of 15, stair push-ups (I use the 4th step down)
  • 3 sets of 40, crunches – regular and both sides for the obliques
  • 1 minute plank
  • 2 sets of 20, mountain climbers

Jake-a-Bean Helped Me Stretch This AM!

Today is just one of those days where your body is wiped, you feel lethargic and you’re just in a cranky mood. What’s even worse is that I agreed to do a Boot Camp class with my coworker tonight. Oh how I’m not looking forward to that at all!

I need a massage. Is it Friday yet?
